The founder
Every asset had an owner expecting the numbers in the pitch, and she was the person accountable for delivering them.
At Bain & Company she ran commercial due diligence for private equity clients. The work: pressure-test the investment thesis before capital is committed, build the forecasts and competitive analysis that decide whether a deal is real. That is where the analytical standard comes from.
Then she went and operated. At AvantStay she became the first Head of Asset Management and the youngest senior leader in the company's history, building the Strategic Initiatives department from nothing. Within that, she spearheaded the Institutional division and scaled it to 15 ownership partners, $100M in annual revenue and roughly $1B in property value. She also owned the Consulting vertical, a standalone advisory business built inside one of the country's largest and top-rated property management companies.
The first hotel she launched reached #1 on TripAdvisor in its market within 60 days of opening. That launch became the template for every asset after it. Pricing, staffing models, distribution, review recovery, cleaning costs, capex, the management agreement, the owner report. She owned each component end-to-end.
Modeling an asset and opening one are different skills, and almost nobody is paid to do both. She was.
She owns short-term rental properties herself, so every recommendation carries the standard she would apply to her own capital.
